Sugar & Kiki is holding a spring postcard design contest with a GREEN theme. You can take this in any direction you like, and you may submit as many designs as you like.

You could:

• explore green’s symbolism

• create a serene outdoor landscape

• assemble and photograph all the green things in your home

• pay homage to a novel by John Green

• get really creative!

You can win:

• a 1-year subscription for yourself (4 postcards and 4 stamps each month - $110 value)

• two 3-month subscriptions to give to loved ones ($66 value)

• 10 postcards featuring your design, plus 10 postcard stamps ($27.50 value)

Early bird deadline is January 19th. Submissions will be accepted through January 31st.

Create your postcard design to these specs:

• Trim: 6” x 4” or 4” x 6”

• Bleed: 6.16 x 4.16 or 4.16 x 6.16

• Safe: 5.84 x 3.84 or 3.84 x 5.84

• File: jpeg or png

• Be sure to design a back, too!

Here’s how we’ll determine our winner:

• Designs will be uploaded to this page, starting on January 20th. Submissions between 1/20 and 1/31 will be uploaded within 2 days of them landing in our inbox.

• Voting starts on January 20th. Voters give each design between 1 and 5 stars.

• The artist with the most stars by 8:00 pm EST on Monday, February 3rd wins!

To increase your chances of winning:

• Send your friends, family, neighbors, loved ones, and liked ones to vote!

• Post your design on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #happilygoingpostal or #sugarandkiki and you’ll get 25 extra stars (this can also be a call to vote - it’s a two-fer!)
