She's Everywhere, She's So Julia
If you didn’t have a brat summer, fret not: Sugar had one for you.
Yes, fine, I had to google “brat summer.”
I also had to google what the lyric “I’m so Julia” means. Basically, it refers to an It Girl - in Charli’s case, Julia Fox. We’re co-opting it for our co-founder, Julia Sugarbaker.
And this summer, she was many brat places. We cooled off in West Virginia and western NC. We visited friends in Tennessee, Virginia, Indiana, and Kentucky. Sugar even hit her 40th state - O-H-I-O!

We feel pretty lucky that we can do our jobs from anywhere. This business is pretty easy to pack up and take with us. I packed envelopes (while Sugar supervised) over a month on the road, a welcome break from the south’s heat.
And maybe she didn’t party all that hard, which is understandable at pushing 100 dog years. She wasn’t particularly messy, which I’m ok with.
But she did some dumb things and got in some trash. So, yeah. Brat.
